Kudos to Rogers Cadenhead for his efforts towards improving Movable Type’s RSS 2.0 feed. It may seem a waste of time since all current aggregators support the existing template, but we all learn by example. And it’s never wasted time to insure that the most prominent examples are the best examples.

As much as I’d like to stuff Atom back into the bottle, I think the genie is out for good. It’s more productive to improve exising applications and build new ones than to throw brickbats at each other.
